GAS GAS UK duo Sam Haslam and Ross Danby were the first big names to enter the opening National of the year, the traditional Vic Brittain Trophy Trial, which runs on the first Sunday in the New Year which is January 6. The Bewdley MCC organisers are anticipating a Christmas rush of entries, so if you are thinking of riding the first national of 2008 you are advised to get moving now with an entry, otherwise your application may get bogged down in the Christmas mail.
The Vic Brittain, which will incorporate two routes, will take place at Farley Quarry, Much Wenlock which is off the A4169 Wenlock to Telford road, with a bright 9am start.
So if you want a good ride out in the Shropshire countryside – and give Sam and Ross a run for their money– your contact is John Wells on 01384-353860. Entries will close on December 30 so again, get those entries sent in NOW. Full details are in Regs Available
