Stef signs for Suzuki

ANDERSON ATV has signed up former youth star Stef Murphy (pictured left) to ride an Anderson Suzuki LT-R450 in 2007.
Murphy will contest the 2007 QH Racing Championship, but a decision on whether he will compete in the British QX Championship cannot, of course, be made until such time as those dates are released and 16-year-old Murphy can finalize his educational and racing calendar.
Announcing the deal, Paul Anderson said: "We were looking for a young rider to bring into the team and there was really only one name on the hit list.
"Stef has won just about everything in the youth scene and presents himself well both on and off the track. We have to work his race schedule around his education, but that isn't a problem as we see 2007 as a learning year for him without any pressure.
"He will have the same spec LT-R as the rest of the team and we will be finalising the riders, the sponsorship and technical support details within the next few weeks.”
