Superquad quandary

GOOD to see John Mitchell (pictured right) back to full speed at the second round of the British Championship at Blaxhall over the weekend, following his injury and noise blighted first round problems.
However, just like the exhaust on his quad at that first round, themutterings are getting louder concerning the return of the Superquad',and in particular his Laeger's Yamaha, which has been quoted as beingvalued at some 25,000.
Following a few seasons of production-based rules, the return of thetop-dollar hybrid is causing some concern and the major manufacturersare already discussing a return to the production-based formula thathas kept racing costs at a more reasonable level over recent years.
