FROM March to September over the past few years, the National Motocross Academy (NMA) has been running residential motocross courses which have proved popular for both quality of training and the fun factor' at each of the three-day courses. When winter arrives, however, many activities go on hold due to the unpredictable climate we have here in Britain.

With this in mind, the NMA is once again turning its thoughts to winter training in a country where the climate and conditions are more favourable – Spain!
In February 2008, the NMA will be jetting off to Alicante on the Costa Blanca for a week's training on five different race
circuits.
The 2008 trip will be the fourth year the experienced NMA team, headed by chief instructor, Danny Tollet, and NMA coordinator, Chris Sprawson, have been running the Spanish course and last month they both flew over to Alicante to finalise details and facilities for next year's group.
Everything is taken care of in this inclusive package. At the beginning of the week all the bikes and equipment – helmets, spares, boots, race gear etc – are collected from rider's homes (or at a convenient location) and transported in advance to Spain so that everything is ready for the first day's riding after breakfast on the Sunday. The NMA's three instructors and services of the residential NMA mechanic will all be on
hand throughout the week to lookafter the party.
The NMA group will fly from a convenient regional airport on Saturday, February 16, and be met by Chris at the airport in Alicante for transfer to the hotel overlooking the Mediterranean.
Accommodation will be in self-contained apartments, all overlooking the sea, with en-suite toilet facilities, living area, fridge and satellite TV. Each room is fitted with air-conditioning in case it gets too warm!
As on all NMA courses, everything is included in the package. All transport for the bikes and riders to and from Britain and the circuits in Spain, all accommodation and meals as well as fuel/ oil for the bikes, tuition fees and circuit admission fees, not forgetting the return air fare from Britain to Alicante. Even go-karting in Benidorm on the free day is included in the package!
The course is open to all ages and abilities from 65cc upwards and costs £1,395 with a few places available for parents/ relatives at special rates.
For full details on what could be a fantastic Christmas present, contact Chris on 01302-759487 or 07754-946856. Danny will be available at various times at the Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh.
If you would like further information on the Spanish course while you are at the show, please call in at Show Reception and ask for Chris Sprawson who will be available with full details on the trip and to answer any questions.
