WOR Events has done it again! In a few weeks time, on the weekend of February 21/22, the WOR Events road show will arrive in Sturbridge, near Stoke-on-Trent, to stage an off-road weekend at a brand new venue called Baden Hall. The course will be set in some stunning grounds, complete with a fishing complex, on a former Ministry of Defence bomb factory, test station and firing range.
The site includes some really interesting ‘sections' that will certainly entertain riders.
Several woodlands, linked by some concrete roads and fast rolling fields, will make up the majority of the loop and some man-made sound defences and ditch crossings will add spice to the circuit.
The WOR team have visited the venue on a number of occasions and already have a course planned.
On Saturday, February 21, as usual, there will be a Race Experience Day – open practice, advice and mini one-hour race.
Then, on the Sunday, February 22, the second round of the WOR Off-Road Premiership (ORP) series will take place, again with the emphasis on quality racing.
All solo classes are catered for with both two-hour and three-hour races taking place simultaneously.
As with all WOR Events, newcomers are welcome and with lots of riders now moving over from motocross to cross-country, coupled with the fact that the venue is in the huge Midlands catchment area, a very busy weekend is anticipated at this new venue.
The course will be rideable and fun for all abilities and the car-parking area will not be affected by the weather in any way.
Entries are now open for this event and further information can be obtained by visiting the website – www.worevents.com – or by calling 07944-378432.
