Naturally, after Weston, I feel I've had a bad year, but for the family of young Ty Kellett, who is still recovering from his injuries sustained at Weston, it is far worse, and it is for them at this time that I reserve my sincerest sentiments.You can understand then that all of this has given me enough reason to consider packing in the events game.
So much struggle for so little reward and when the worst happens there's even less reason to be the man everyone is looking to. That said, we all love this sport and I'm heartened by those who have passed on their support. Certainly you help me believe in the off-road family, and the fact that collectively we can make a difference.
So, can I really walk away now? Before I answer that, though, I'd like to answer some of the questions that have been posed in light of the accident at the Weston Beach Race.
