Sampson does it brilliant Lee

Motocross

JUST a week after claiming top spot in the Novogar Trials championship round in Oxon, Lee Sampson returned South to earn himself a quick double win, grabbing another Novogar victory in the 82nd staging of the Colmore Cup Trial on Sunday. Sampson not only soared to the top of the championship table, but also brilliantly took the premier award on the day.

Almost right on cue, as the first rider left the start at Downs Farm, Blockley, near Moreton-in-the-Marsh, the widely predicted heavy rain started to fall.

Despite the atrocious conditions, the Novogar lads again displayed great skill, with Sampson going onto take the win with an amazing loss of just four marks. His nearest Novogar challengers on the day were Wayne Holdsworth on 12, Andrew Blackman 20, James Fry 20, Colin Crease 25, Liam Walker 26 and Gary Jenkins 26.
