Italian suspension company TECH is already incredibly well-known in the trials world as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for many bike builders. As well as stock equipment, TECH produces some high-performance products for the serious trials rider – the Kashima Pro Racing fork their #1 performer up until now.

However, with electric motorcycle manufacturers – and TrialGP superstars – requiring everything to be lighter, TECH has stepped up and produced a Kashima Pro SL fork that more than half a kilo lighter than the already incredibly light Pro Racing model.

Weighing in at 3.95 kg (580g lighter than the classic TECH Kashima Pro Racing fork), the 39mm aluminium forks retain low-friction Kashima coating but have been whittled down for weight-saving purposes while retaining the strength necessary for top-level trial competition. The outer tubes are forged and CNC-machined while new high-tensile steel springs are 30 percent lighter than the previous model. TECH’s market-leading hydraulic damping system remains, and the forks are fully adjustable for compression, pre-load, rebound and bottom-out.

After bench-testing to ensure their strength and performance, the forks have been extensively used in real world conditions by Electric Motion and GASGAS factory riders Benoit Bincaz, Gael Chatagno, Sondre Haga and Jaime Busto.

Priced at 1,646 Euros they’re for serious trials riders only but if you’re looking for the best forks for your trials bike then here, they are. Check them out at rideformula.com.
